Inside Mounting
For an inside mount, measure the window height, width, and depth. The minimum required depth is 2.5 inches. The blind should be at least 1/4 inch smaller than the window width to allow for a tiny gap on each side. This means the fabric width should be at least 1.5 inches smaller than the window width, making the final product width 33.9 inches. This snug fit eliminates gaps and ensures an aesthetically pleasing and secure installation.
Outside Mounting
If you choose an outside mount, the requirements are slightly less stringent. For the width, the blind should be 3-6 inches wider than the window width to avoid gaps. Additionally, the blind length should be at least 6 inches longer than the window to ensure complete coverage. This design ensures that your blinds will perfectly fit any window, providing optimal coverage and a professional look.
